Bobcat / Skid Steer
Overview
This 1 day training course is designed for experienced operators. Training is available on-site anywhere in the Republic of Ireland (subject to minimum numbers). On successful completion of this course candidates will be issued with an ITC Certificate which is valid for 2 years.
The Training will consist of a combination of classroom induction relating knowledge for Bobcat Skid Steer operations, and practical operation of the skid steer machine that can be tailored to your industry requirements.

- Pre-use Inspections
- Traffic Management
- Site Safety and PPE
- Responsibilities of the bobcat Operator
- Safety controls and counter balance
- Assessing loads and lift points
- Bobcat Hydraulic controls
- Lifting and placing various loads
- Park and secure the Bobcat
Trainee Requirements
Candidates must have a valid driving license and have at least three months industry experience. They must be medically fit to operate machinery and have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest, as per site requirements.

Site Requirements
A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and machines are needed for the practical. The Certificate of Thorough Examination for the machine must be in date where required.
